Civil Design Help Desk is run by Derek Rosborough, ABN 50 886 436 780. This page explains, in plain English, what personal information I collect and what I do with it. Last updated October 2026.
What I collect
- Your name and email, if you ask for a free checklist or email me.
- What you tell me about your project or question, when you contact me or book a session.
- Payment details, handled by Stripe. I never see or store your card number.
Why I collect it
- To send you what you asked for, such as a checklist, an answer or a booking.
- To send you occasional emails about Civil Design Help Desk, such as new guides, the founding membership or the course. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
- To run my membership and keep records my accountant and the ATO need.
Who else sees it
I don't sell or rent your information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. It's stored with the services this website uses: Netlify (website and forms), Google Gmail (email) and Stripe (payments). Some of these keep data on servers outside Australia, such as in the United States.
Project files
Please don't send confidential client files. Anonymise or recreate the problem instead. Anything you do share is used only to help you, and isn't passed on.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email, or by asking me.
- Ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you.
